The Nervous System Reset: A Breath, Yoga & Sound Immersion
Sunday, October 25 from 2:00pm-4:00pm | Cost: $60 | Location: The Kula Collective, 499 Bantam Road, Litchfield, CT
Give yourself permission to pause. This immersive journey combines breathwork, gentle movement, meditation, and sound to support deep relaxation and a return to balance.
Join Grace Magnusson and Jennifer Hoffman, LCSW, as we explore simple, accessible practices that invite the body and mind into a state of greater ease. Drawing from the wisdom of yogic philosophy, we’ll also explore the ancient understanding that our state of being is not fixed and that through breath, movement, awareness, and intentional practice, we can shift the way we experience ourselves in the present moment.
Through mindful movement, intentional breathing, guided discussion, and a restorative sound experience, you’ll create space to let go of stress, reconnect with yourself, and experience the power of making space to slow down and notice. These practices can serve you anytime, but especially as the holiday season approaches!
No prior yoga or meditation experience is required. This experience is an invitation to rest, restore, and reconnect. Participants will receive a workbook to take home with some of the practices and techniques covered in the workshop.
Grace Magnusson is a 500-hr Yoga Instructor, 200-hr Somatic Body and Breathwork practitioner, and a Sound Healing practitioner with 10 years of experience leading groups, retreats and individuals through guided sessions of transformation. Grace blends somatic science with yogic philosophy to bridge modern understanding of the body and energetic fields with ancient practices and wisdom.
In addition to holding weekly public yoga classes and events, Grace’s private practice is out of Kula Collective in Litchfield, CT, where she works with clients in trauma release, deep relaxation, and health coaching.
Grace works with local rehabilitation centers, focusing on sharing with teens the power of cultivating self-awareness. Through this work, she has experienced how sound healing, movement, and guided breathwork can shift someone’s experience towards wholeness and self-compassion.
Jennifer Hoffman, LCSW, is a trauma therapist and therapeutic yoga specialist with over 19 years of experience helping people work with anxiety, stress patterns, and nervous system dysregulation. Her approach blends clinical psychotherapy with embodied practices including breathwork, mindfulness, and yoga-informed tools.
She is EMDR-trained and has expanded her work into more experiential, body-based healing modalities that support clients in moving out of survival states and into greater regulation and ease.
Jennifer is the founder of Instar Healing in Connecticut, where she offers therapy, intensives, and workshops focused on nervous system healing and integration.
